Bill’s Bike Shop has been in business for more than 60 years and has been a major part of the Eastern Idaho community. Carrying top brands such as Specialized, Trek, Raleigh and Giant, Bill’s is the bike shop of choice for those who take cycling seriously. Now, renamed as Bills Bike and Run, the shop also caters to runners as well as cyclists.
“We believe that the quality of life can be improved through walking, running, riding and living an active, happy lifestyle” explained Brandon Fell, a manager at Bills Bike Shop, when asked about the reasons they are in business. “We contribute our years of success to providing quality products, outstanding service, expert training, education and events for athletes at all levels.”
Some of the new products and services offered by Bill’s can now be seen in the new indoor cycling classes and yoga classes—a service supplied by the shop so that people can stay in shape and train all season long. CompuTrainer™, the indoor cycling program offered by the shop, provides customers with an indoor bike that advertises an increase in cycling power by 20 to 30% and an increase in speed by two to four miles per hour.
Recently, the products, service and expert training offered by Bills Bike and Run has expanded to new locations. Bill’s has opened up in a new location in Idaho Falls and, as of September of 2013, a new store has opened in Rexburg. Being a manager of the store in Rexburg, Brandon Fell always felt like the move to Rexburg was bound to happen. “Bills Bike and Run always had plans to be in the Rexburg area. With the growth of BYU-I, along with the introduction of running into our stores, we felt like it was time to expand,” said Fell.
Along with the products and services that the shop offers, Bill’s also sponsors local race teams, cycling events, and the shop even has an annual charity give-away where hundreds of bikes are donated by local citizens and refurbished by Bill’s to be given away to youth that might otherwise go without. With such a unique variety of services and products paired with a spirit of giving back to the community, Bills Bike and Run is an obvious first choice for those looking to get into shape.
