BRIDE’S HOMETOWN: Toledo, OH

GROOM’S HOMETOWN: Chicago, IL

CEREMONY: Hilton Garden Inn in Idaho Falls

WEDDING DATE: Oct. 25, 2014

FIRST SIGHT: We actually met at Ford’s Bar downtown Idaho Falls one night when my mom came to visit. He spent most of the night talking to my mom and she thought he was great.

THE ONE: Richard and I both work a lot so it was very hard to schedule, but through a few months we were able to manage a couple dates. We spent a lot of time talking via text and phone, and when we were able to go on an actual date he was a complete gentleman. After date No. 5 and several months of talking, he finally kissed me. From that moment I knew he was the one.

THE PROPOSAL: I'm not the most patient person, and I had a feeling he was going to propose. I started snooping and found the ring. It was so beautiful, I had to try it on and see what it looked like. Well, then I felt bad and had to tell him I found it and put it on. I thought he was going to be mad, but he wasn't. His response was, “Since you put it on I'm guessing your saying yes, so why don't you just keep it?” It wasn't the most romantic, but it completely fit us.

WEDDING PALETTE: I choose the Hilton Garden Inn for the wedding and reception after meeting with Taryn touring the location because the location and view was absolutely beautiful and Taryn and the staff were so helpful and professional. I shared my vision with Taryn and she did an amazing job pulling it all together and everything turned out better then I could have imagined. I am so happy how our wedding day turned out because everything turned out great and I married the most amazing man ever.

FAVORITE DETAIL: When I started planning our wedding I  knew wanted to go with a fall theme but had no idea how exactly I wanted to do this. When attending the bridal fair at the Shilo I stopped by floral classic’s booth and saw an amazing floral arrangement that I just fell in love with.  That floral arrangement was the inspiration for the rest of the wedding. Floral Classics did an amazing job and they turned out beautiful. Everything after that as pretty easy. I found a few ideas on Pinterest and wrote most of the wedding ceremony wording to make sure it was as unique as our relationship.

INSPIRATION: Some advice I would give to anyone planning their wedding would be to stay organized and don’t stress to much because as long as you are married at the end of the day to the one you want to spend the rest of your life with the day is a success
